Analysis and History
The Analysis tab allows you to view the history of your sensor and output values in chart form.
Subscription Required
Access to history and charts requires a Basic or Premium subscription.
Accessing Analysis
- Access your equipment page
- Click on the "Analysis" tab
Prerequisites
To view the history of an input/output:
- The I/O must be configured (with a name)
- The "Record history" option must be enabled
- The equipment must be online to collect data
Interface Overview
I/O Selection
A dropdown menu lists all inputs/outputs with history enabled:
- Digital inputs
- Analog inputs
- PT1000 inputs
- Digital outputs
- Analog outputs
Period Selection
Choose the time range to display:
Quick Filters
- Last hour
- Last 6 hours
- Last 24 hours (default)
- Last 7 days
- Last 30 days
Custom Period
- Start date/time
- End date/time
Chart
The chart displays the evolution of values over time:
- X-axis: Time (timestamp)
- Y-axis: I/O value (according to configured unit)
- Curve: Value evolution
Chart Types
Digital Inputs
- Binary display (0/1 or ON/OFF)
- Transition visualization
Analog Inputs
- Continuous curve
- Scale according to configured calibration
- Unit of measurement
PT1000 Inputs
- Temperature curve
- Scale in degrees Celsius
Outputs
- History of sent commands
- Successive states
Real-Time Mode
Enable "Real-time mode" to:
- Automatically update the chart
- See new values appear
- Follow evolution live
An indicator shows when data is being updated.
Chart Interactions
Zoom
- Mouse wheel: Zoom in/out
- Click + drag: Zoom on an area
Move
- Right-click + drag: Move view
Reset
- Double-click: Return to full view
Hover Information
Hovering over the chart, a tooltip displays:
- Precise timestamp
- Exact value
- Unit of measurement
Export Data
- Click on the "Export" button
- Select format:
- CSV: For Excel, LibreOffice
- JSON: For programmatic processing
- Download the file
Performance Optimization
For better performance:
- Limit the displayed period (avoid very long periods)
- System automatically samples if too many points
- Maximum 5000 points displayed per query
Use Cases
Temperature Monitoring
View temperature evolution over 24h to detect anomalies.
Consumption Analysis
Track output activation cycles to optimize consumption.
Fault Diagnosis
Identify moments when a sensor had abnormal behavior.
Troubleshooting
No data displayed
- Verify history is enabled for this I/O
- Check that the selected period contains data
- Ensure equipment was online during this period
Incomplete data
- Equipment may have been offline
- Check network connection
- Data is only recorded when equipment communicates
Tip
Enable history only on I/O you want to analyze to optimize storage.
