Equipment Settings

The Settings tab allows you to configure advanced options for your equipment: enabled modules, communication intervals, and optional features.

Accessing Settings

  1. Access your equipment page
  2. Click on the "Settings" tab

Module Management

Modules are optional features that you can enable or disable on your equipment.

Available Modules

Enable/Disable a Module

  1. Locate the module in the list
  2. Use the switch to enable/disable
  3. Click on "Save"
  4. Changes are synchronized with equipment

Module Synchronization

After enabling/disabling:

  • An indicator shows synchronization status
  • 🟢 Synchronized: Module is active on equipment
  • 🟡 Pending: Synchronization needed

Communication Settings

Configure communication intervals between equipment and server.

Input Interval

Frequency of sending input (sensor) values.

Deadband: Equipment sends a new value only if it has changed by at least this value from the previous one.

Output Interval

Frequency of sending output (actuator) states.

Modify Intervals

  1. Enter new values
  2. Click on "Save"
  3. Settings are sent to equipment
Tip
  • Reduce intervals for more responsiveness (consumes more data)
  • Increase intervals to save bandwidth

Reset Settings

To return to default values:

  1. Click on "Reset to defaults"
  2. Confirm action
  3. Settings are restored

Load from Equipment

To retrieve settings currently configured on equipment:

  1. Click on "Load from equipment"
  2. Equipment values are displayed
  3. You can compare them with saved values

Load Settings

Equipment Information

The Settings tab also displays:

Firmware Version

Version of software embedded on equipment.

Uptime

Duration since equipment last restart.

CPU Type

Controller processor model.

Compatibility

Verification of firmware compatibility with requested features.

Equipment Status

Connection badges are displayed:

Troubleshooting

Modules won't activate

  • Verify equipment is online
  • Wait for synchronization (may take a few seconds)
  • Check equipment logs

Settings not applied

  • Ensure you clicked "Save"
  • Check equipment connection
  • Reload settings from equipment to verify

Incompatible Firmware

Some features require minimum firmware version. Contact your installer for an update.

Warning

Modifying communication intervals can affect your system's responsiveness. Test changes before applying in production.
