Account Settings

The Account Settings page (/account/settings) lets you manage your personal information and secure your account by changing your password. You can access this page from your user menu.

How to access

To open your account settings:

  1. Sign in to your Kodeno account.
  2. Click your username in the top menu.
  3. Select "Account Settings" from the dropdown.

Page sections

The page has two main sections:

1. Personal information

Update your basic information here:

  • First name — Your given name (required)
  • Last name — Your family name (required)
  • Time zone — Choose your preferred time zone

How to update:

  1. Edit the fields you want to change.
  2. Click Save to apply changes.
  3. A confirmation message appears when the update succeeds.

Note: Fields marked with * are required.

2. Security — Change password

Use this section to change your account password.

Required fields:

  • Current password — Your existing password (required)
  • New password — Choose a new password (required)
  • Confirm password — Re-enter the new password

How to change your password:

  1. Enter your current password.
  2. Choose a new password.
  3. Confirm the new password.
  4. Click Change password.
  5. A confirmation message appears when the change is successful.

Security tips:

  • Use a password that is easy for you to remember but hard for others to guess.
  • Never share your password.
  • Change your password if you suspect someone else may have access.

Messages and notifications

The page shows different message types:

  • Error messages (red) — Shown if a field is incorrect or an action failed
  • Success messages (green) — Confirm that changes were saved
  • Info messages (blue/yellow) — Provide tips or important information

Messages close automatically after a few seconds or can be closed manually.
