S7 Log for an Equipment

Overview

The S7 Log tab shows real-time and historical values coming from advanced connections (e.g. industrial controllers) when enabled. It offers charts, table views and maps to inspect data.

Note: This tab is available only if the advanced connection feature is enabled and at least one data source is configured.

Views

Charts

Interactive charts for numeric data:

  • Real-time updates
  • Custom time ranges (24h, 7d, 30d)
  • Current, min, avg, max

Table

Tabular view for recorded values:

  • Timestamped values
  • Sorting and filtering
  • Export option

Map

For geolocation data:

  • Interactive map
  • Trajectories and points of interest

Main features

  • Real-time data streaming when sources are active
  • Select numeric/text/GPS data types for appropriate views
  • Identify sources by name and address

How to use

  • Switch views via the top buttons (Charts / Table / Map)
  • Select the source and the variable to display
  • Choose the time range and export if needed

Requirements (simple)

  • Advanced connection feature enabled
  • At least one source configured and online
  • Variables enabled for charting if you want charts

Tips

  • Use charts for trends and table for detailed exports
  • Limit time ranges for better performance
  • Export relevant data for external analysis

Troubleshooting

  • No data: check that the source is connected and active
  • Incorrect values: contact your integrator or support
