Equipment Settings

The Settings tab lets you configure options for your equipment: enabled modules, data sending frequency, and optional features.

How to access

  1. Open the equipment page
  2. Click the Settings tab

Modules

Modules are optional features you can enable or disable.

Enable or disable a module and click Save. Changes are synchronized to the equipment.

Communication settings

Configure how often the equipment sends data to the server.

Sensor frequency

The change threshold avoids sending small, insignificant updates.

Command frequency

Save to send settings to the equipment.

tip
  • Shorter intervals = more real-time but higher data usage
  • Longer intervals = save bandwidth but less responsive

Reset to defaults

Click Reset to defaults to restore original settings.

Load from equipment

Click Load from equipment to fetch current device settings and compare with Kodeno.

Device info

  • Firmware version
  • Uptime since last restart
  • Model
  • Compatibility with features

Status

Badges show connection state:

  • 🟢 Active connection
  • 🟢 Equipment connected
  • 🔴 Offline

Troubleshooting

  • Modules not enabling: check device is online and wait for sync
  • Settings not applied: ensure you clicked Save and device is connected
  • Firmware incompatible: contact your installer

Changing communication intervals may impact responsiveness. Test before applying widely.
