Equipment Dashboard

Overview​

The equipment Dashboard provides a real-time view of your equipment and connected items. You can monitor current values and control some functions directly from the interface.

Main features​

Simple display widgets​

Widgets show current states in real time:

  • Binary states: Indicators (e.g. active/inactive)
  • Numeric values: Current value with unit (e.g. 25.0 °C)
  • Temperature sensors: Readings in °C

These values update automatically.

Quick controls​

Control some outputs directly from the dashboard:

  • On/Off controls: Toggle a function
  • Adjustments: Slider to change a value (e.g. intensity)

Changes are sent immediately to the equipment.

Charts​

If configured, charts show historical trends and archived data for analysis.

How to use​

Access the tab​

  1. Open Equipment in the menu
  2. Select the equipment
  3. Click Dashboard

Monitor values​

  • Values appear automatically when the equipment is connected.
  • A loading indicator may appear while connecting.
  • Data updates continuously.

Control outputs​

  1. Find the control widget.
  2. For on/off: click the button to change state.
  3. For adjustment: use the slider to set the value.

Note: Changes are applied immediately on the physical device.

Connection states​

  • Online: Real-time data available
  • Offline: Shows last known values
  • Error: Communication problem

Requirements​

  • The equipment must have at least one configured sensor or control
  • Display mode (simple/chart) is set in Configuration
  • You need the proper permissions to control some functions
